What it shows
A game-day forecast for every Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Red Bulls, NYCFC, Westchester SC, Eagles, Phillies, Union and Rutgers football home game (teams appear here while they still have home games left this season), so you know what to wear and whether to bring a poncho. Each team gets its own graphic in its colors, with a photo of the stadium.
How to read it
- The big numbers are the temperature at the start (first pitch or kickoff) and at the end of the game (final out, final whistle or full time). Night games can drop 5 to 10 degrees by the end.
- Feels like includes the wind and humidity. Rain chance and wind are for the stadium during the game.
- These examples are made-up games. Real ones use the National Weather Service hourly forecast for the stadium.
When we post it
The day before or the morning of each home game. Big games and playoff games get extra updates.
Where the numbers come from
Hourly forecasts from the National Weather Service for each stadium. Game times from the official team schedules. For dangerous weather, always follow official National Weather Service warnings and your local emergency officials.
