What we post / Morning Lows
Morning Lows
What it shows
How cold you'll wake up. These are the overnight lows that bottom out around sunrise, so you know if it's a jacket morning.
How to read it
- Each dark box is a city's forecast low in °F.
- Cooler blues and teals mean colder mornings. Inland and northwest spots usually run colder than the cities and the shore.
- The water is shaded gray-blue on cold maps, so it never blends in with the land.
When we post it
Every morning, usually posted with the Daily Highs.
Where the numbers come from
Overnight lows from the National Weather Service forecast. For dangerous weather, always follow official National Weather Service warnings and your local emergency officials.
